David Updegrove serves as General Counsel of Salt Creek Midstream. He has 10 years of legal experience, including energy, private equity and M&A.  

Prior to joining Salt Creek, Mr. Updegrove served as a senior associate at Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP, where his practice focused on mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, joint ventures and other corporate transactions. He started his career at Baker Botts LLP and represented a variety of energy, industrial, manufacturing, and transportation companies in his time in private practice. Mr. Updegrove is a graduate of the University of California – Los Angeles and holds a Juris Doctorate from University of California – Berkeley School of Law. He is licensed to practice law in Texas and California.
